Our Pastor
Pastor Cassandra Steptoe-Sampson, born December 29, 1954 in Los Angeles , California . She is the 4th of 8 children. The call and love of God was upon her life at an early age. The most influential person in her life was her maternal grandmother; Nancy Granny Whitehead, who died when Pastor Sampson was only ten years old. However, the worship Granny offered unto God still remains fresh in her mind. No wonder Pastor Sampson is a passionate worshipper.
In 1982 with no formal training, Pastor Sampson began teaching Sunday School at Crouch Memorial Church of God in Christ, under the leadership of the Late Pastor Samuel M. Crouch Jr. 1984 Pastor Sampson joined Fruit of the Vine Ministries and began working closely with the founder Dr. Lillie Gibson in the ministry of helps. She served God and the community for over twenty years. During that time Pastor Sampson worked with the local food banks, grocers and agencies feeding and clothing the community. She assisted the sectretary of the Executive Board of Bishops for the World Won for Christ Ministries, International, held the offices of Deacon, Elder and was ordained as Pastor in 1993. Pastor Sampson served as Co-Pastor of Fruit of the Vine Ministries from 1993 until July 2006. May 2006 Pastor Sampson was called by God to step out and begin a new work. July 2006, Living Waters West L.A. was born.
Overcoming obstacles as a teenage unwed mother, Pastor Sampson understands all too well the power words can have over you and their lasting effects. She strongly believes that the power of life and death is in tongue and that all things are possible to them who believe. Pastor Sampson has a burden for women who have succumbed to the pressures of this world and who live their lives as others see them and not how God designed them; a tragic case of mistaken identity! 2004 gave birth to a womens fellowship group which is now known as Sista 4 Sista. This ministry is open to every woman.
Her love for the Now Generation has allowed her the opportunity to share and express the love of God to many young men & women. She worked with the Dance Ministry at Fruit of the Vine Ministries.
Today, Pastor Sampson stands strong in the Lord and in the Power of His Might! She strongly believes that there is no mountain or obstacle one cannot climb when their mind is set and you take God at His word! She prays 5 days a week with as many as 17 women and men at 5:30 A.M. encouraging them and herself to trust God no matter what it looks like.She is a proud mother of 2 adult children and 2 beautiful grandchildren. Her quest for the answer to Lord, who am I really, has lead her to places where only God has ordained. To coin a phrase from her senior pastor; The Vision Continues...

Prayer Partners was birthed out of the scripture two is better than one. 10 months later, as many as 17 men and women gather each weekday morning as early as 5:00 A.M. to pray.
Our prayer partners have now expanded from Los Angeles to as far away as Atlanta, GA. We have experienced miracles, healings and deliverance.
